1. Graphics settings - how low can you go? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I normally play on a desktop with a Geforce 6200 PCI. It's not fantastic but it manages. I also use a laptop that lists it's graphics as Intel 945GM. That can't do anything above absolute minimum and I don't do any deliberate PVP on it.

You can't empty the wreck but if you find one that's already been emptied then it's fair game for salvaging. You can make quite a bit by cleaning up other peoples rubbish after they've been ratting.

I use an Advent 8109. It probably would have trouble with PvP or Jita but for trading, changing skills and high-sec ratting it seems to work fine.

I have had disconnects all week. I installed that patch, reinstalled the whole client. Did all sorts of things to my cache/img folder and in the end I just lowered my graphics settings a bit in the escape menu. Haven't had a crash since I did it ...
